The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, known for the successful Arkham series. Since its initial announcements, a few details have been shared like the game will have some characters already available when you start playing – Harley Quinn and King Shark, and now a new leak suggests that Deathstroke would be included as a DLC character.

On December 3, a Twitter user named Miller Ross, who has been sharing information about the game, mentioned in a tweet that Deathstroke would be included as a DLC character. The tweet was taken down following a report from Warner Bros Games, the copyright holder, adding credibility to Ross’s information.

Miller Ross shared a bunch of emojis on Twitter, giving hints about the upcoming characters in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League DLC. According to the report, one of these emojis was a green water pistol, which got fans guessing about the character it represented.

Fans have been speculating about this revelation, with some suggesting Red Hood as a possible alternative. However, Miller Ross revealed that the character hinted by the water pistol emoji was Deathstroke. They posted a picture showing Deathstroke’s new design in the game, as an apology for the confusion caused by the emoji.

The design stays true to Deathstroke’s iconic look with a blue-and-orange face mask and armored suit. It’s like a more colorful and comic book-style version of his appearance in the Origins and Knight games.

Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke, is usually seen as an enemy of the Teen Titans in comics, games, and other media. However, he has faced many other famous DC superheroes, including Batman in two of the Batman: Arkham video games.

In Batman: Arkham Origins, there’s a memorable boss fight between Deathstroke and Batman. After this encounter, Amanda Waller approaches Deathstroke to join Task Force X, but this storyline is left unfinished in the game’s post-credits scene.

Later, in Batman: Arkham Knight, released in 2015, Deathstroke’s involvement takes a different turn. Instead of joining Task Force X, he is shown leading a militia squad working for Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight.

Ross already showed one character before – they shared Killer Croc last week. Now, there are more characters leaked for the game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. These characters are:

    • Killer Frost
    • The Joker
    • Red Hood

Well, Rocksteady might explore the unresolved story from Batman: Arkham Origins involving Deathstroke in the post-launch DLC for Suicide Squad, according to Miller’s claims. Players are speculating about other characters hinted in the leak, such as Killer Frost, Katana, Peacemaker from Mortal Kombat 1, and even the supposedly deceased Joker.

These rumors are unconfirmed, so fans will need to wait until after Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice releases in February to see what Rocksteady has in store.
