Exodus, a new sci-fi adventure game, was revealed at the 2023 Game Awards. The game features Matthew McConaughey, known for his role in Interstellar, as the protagonist.
The game is being developed by Archetype Entertainment, which includes former BioWare developers. BioWare is renowned for creating the celebrated sci-fi RPG series, Mass Effect.
Like Mass Effect, Exodus is a space-faring odyssey set in the far future. McConaughey’s character, the Traveller, will explore the galaxy and interact with various alien races. The game will feature third-person shooter mechanics and an entirely new cast of characters.
Release Date: As of now, no release date has been revealed for Exodus.
Exodus will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There have been no announcements about a PS4, Xbox One, or Switch release.
The game will explore the concept of time dilation, a phenomenon where time moves faster in one place compared to another due to the effects of gravity. This concept, familiar to those who’ve seen Interstellar, will be a significant aspect of the gameplay in Exodus
