Forza Horizon 6 Not Set to Appear at Xbox Showcase
If you were hoping to see Forza Horizon 6 at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase, there’s some disappointing news.
Trusted insider Extas1s has claimed that Playground Games won’t show anything related to the racing franchise during the 2024 event. Instead, all focus is currently on developing the next Fable game.
According to Extas1s, Forza Horizon 6 is still in the early stages of development, so it will be a while before we see it. Playground Games has reportedly dedicated its main resources to completing Fable, a reboot of Microsoft’s classic RPG series, which is expected to launch in 2026. Because of this, the racing sequel won’t be shown during the June 8 event.
Fans Still Love Forza Horizon 5
Forza Horizon 5, which launched in 2021, remains very popular among racing fans. Many players are already dreaming about what FH6 could bring—especially if the next location turns out to be Japan, as some have wished.
But with no teaser or announcement planned for the showcase, fans will need to wait a bit longer for any updates.
Fable, however, is expected to be a key part of Xbox’s presentation. It will release for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and be available via Game Pass.
