How to Get BOB the 6th Builder in Clash Of Clans?

To get the 6th Builder in Clash of Clans, you need to build and upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut in the Builder Base. The Builder Base is like a bonus base you unlock when your Home Village is at Town Hall level 4.

To unlock the O.T.T.O Hut, make sure your Builder Hall is upgraded to level 9. Once it’s level 9, you can build the O.T.T.O Hut for 100,000 Builder Gold.

To fully unlock the 6th Builder, you have to upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 5. But here’s the catch: instead of using resources like Builder Gold or Builder Elixir, you need to complete four specific challenges to max it out.

Challenges to upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 5

Let’s explore these challenges:

3 Gear Up upgrades

In the first challenge to upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 2, you need to “gear up” some defensive structures in your Home Village. To complete this task, you must upgrade a Cannon, an Archer Tower, and a Mortar. Before you can do this, you need to improve both your Home Village and Builder Base defenses.

Here are the upgrade levels required to unlock gearing up:

• For Cannons, you need a level 7 Cannon and a level 4 Double Cannon to gear up.
• Archer Towers require a level 10 Archer Tower and a level 6 Builder Base Archer Tower to gear up.
• Mortars need a level 8 Mortar and a level 8 Multi-Mortar to gear up.

Once you’ve geared up all three types of defenses, you can permanently upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 2.

Upgrade any Builder Base Troop to level 18

In the next challenge, you need to upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 3. To do this, you have to upgrade the Cannon Cart troop to level 18, which is a bit of a tough task.

The Cannon Cart is a troop in the Builder Base, and you unlock it when your Builder Barracks is at level 7. You can do this once your Builder Base is at level 5. As soon as you have the Cannon Cart, start upgrading it in the Star Laboratory.

To reach level 18 for the Cannon Cart, you’ll need to be at Builder Base level 9. It’s a good idea to start upgrading it early because it takes a lot of Builder Elixir, and doing it early helps you avoid waiting for weeks to finish this step.

Upgrade the Mega Tesla

To level up the Mega Tesla in Clash of Clans, tap its icon and use a Hammer of Building, costing one. You can’t upgrade it further if it’s already at the max level or if your Builder Hall level isn’t high enough.

To upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 4, first, get the Mega Tesla to level 9. The Mega Tesla unlocks at Builder Base level 8, so you can’t start upgrading it early.

The good news is, that upgrading the Mega Tesla is one of the O.T.T.O Hut challenges that use Builder Gold, making it easy to keep it upgrading. Once the Mega Tesla upgrade is done, you can then upgrade the O.T.T.O Hut to level 4, completing this part of the game.

Upgrade the Battle Machine

To complete the last challenge for the O.T.T.O Hut in Clash of Clans, you need to upgrade the Battle Machine to its maximum level of 30. You can start upgrading the Battle Machine at Builder Hall level 5, but it costs a lot—over 70 Million Builder Elixir.

You’ll need to consistently build and manage your Builder Elixir carefully to avoid spending too much time upgrading the Battle Machine. Once you finish this challenge, the O.T.T.O Hut will reach its maximum level, and you’ll get an O.T.T.O robot, which acts as an extra, 6th Builder in Clash of Clans. 

After the O.T.T.O Hut reaches level 5, you’ll have a second Builder in the Builder Base. By tapping on the O.T.T.O Hut, you can choose to send a Builder to your Home Village.
