LEGO Fortnite May Be Getting a New Co-Op Mode

A new leak suggests that LEGO Fortnite could soon introduce a brand-new game mode called Expeditions. According to trusted leaker Loolo_WRLD, this upcoming feature may launch in the 36.10 update and be available through bus stations located in both Brick Life and Odyssey modes.

This rumoured Expeditions mode, currently codenamed “Mars,” may offer limited-time experiences designed for co-op play. These missions will reportedly allow players to adjust the difficulty level to suit their preferences, making it easier or more challenging based on their group’s skill level.

What Else Is Happening in LEGO Fortnite?

Epic Games has also added AI versions of Noir and Slurp Leviathan to LEGO Fortnite. These characters, inspired by the same tech used for Darth Vader’s recent inclusion, react to in-game events but don’t have direct player interaction yet.

While Expeditions sounds promising, it’s just one part of a larger effort by Epic Games to evolve LEGO Fortnite. The mode could help keep the gameplay fresh, following the Galactic Battle mini-season that brought in Star Wars content. If successful, it may even hint at a longer-term strategy for unique seasonal co-op events in the LEGO Fortnite universe.

While nothing is officially confirmed, the potential of Expeditions has excited fans. A flexible and social co-op experience could be exactly what LEGO Fortnite needs to stay relevant and stand out among Fortnite’s many game modes. We’ll likely hear more if update 36.10 rolls out soon, so keep your eyes peeled for the bus stations.
