    1. Hisuian Samurott Raid Day (December 3)

    On December 3, 2023, Hisuian Samurott is making a special appearance in Three-Star Raids, and there’s a Raid Day just for it. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, you can find Hisuian Samurott in raids worldwide.

    Even better, you can use Remote Raid Passes to join up to 20 raids. Plus, when you spin Gyms, you can get up to 5 extra Raid Passes for free. Just remember, these extra passes are only for in-person raids.

    2. Along the Routes (December 5 – 8)

    The “Along the Routes” event is happening from December 5 to 8, 2023. Players think this event will be all about the game’s Routes feature.

    Routes are like set paths in the game that players can walk along. These paths are either made by the game creators (Niantic), official partners, or other players. A route is like a trail that goes from one point to another without any breaks.

    3. Adamant Time (December 11 – 15)

    The Adamant Time event in Pokemon Go is happening from December 11, 2023, starting at 10 AM, to December 15, 2023, ending at 8 PM local time. Niantic hasn’t shared any specific information about the event yet.

    4. December 2023 Community Day (December 16 – 17)

    The special Pokemon Go Community Day event in December 2023 will happen on both Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17. It will take place from 2 to 5 PM in your local time.

    During this event, certain Pokémon that were stars of Community Days in 2023 will show up more often in the wild and as rewards for completing Timed Research.

    There are some cool bonuses too:

    • You’ll get double XP for catching Pokemon.
    • Pokémon from the Community Day events in 2022 will hatch from 2 km Eggs.

    5. Winter Holiday Part 1 (December 18 – 25)

    The Winter Holiday Part 1 event in Pokemon Go is happening from December 18, 2023, at 10 AM to December 25, 2023, at 8 PM.

    During the event, you can find special Pokemon by doing certain tasks. These Pokemon include:

    • Pikachu in a Winter Carnival outfit
    • Alolan Vulpix
    • Seel.

    You can also buy a ticket for exclusive Timed Research. If you finish all the tasks, you get a special avatar pose, encounters with special Pokemon like Lapras and Delibird, two Incubators, and one Incense.

    6. Winter Holiday Part 2 (December 25 – 31)

    In the Winter Holiday Part 2 event of Pokémon Go from December 25 to 31, players can find special Pokémon by doing certain tasks, just like in Part 1. The ones revealed so far are Pikachu in a Winter Carnival outfit, Alolan Sandshrew, and Seel. There might be more surprises coming.

    7. Other Pokemon Events in December 2023

    Pokemon Go December 2023 Spotlight Hours

    Pokemon Go will have Spotlight Hours every Tuesday in December from 6 to 7 PM:

    • On December 5th, you’ll find more Feebas in the wild. If you catch any Pokemon during that hour, you’ll get double the Candy.
    • On December 12th, Seel will be around more, and if you transfer any Pokemon, you’ll get double the Candy.
    • On December 19th, Snorunt will be out more, and when you evolve any Pokemon, you’ll get double the experience points.

    Make sure you have enough Poke Balls and clear space in your Pokemon storage ahead of time.

    Pokemon Go December 2023 Raid Hours

    Raid Hours in Pokemon Go take place every Wednesday from 6–7 PM local time. This is when a special Pokemon shows up more often in Gyms for Raid Battles. It’s a really good chance to catch a powerful Pokémon called Legendaries.

    Here are some upcoming Raid Hours in December 2023:

    • December 6: Reshiram
    • December 13: Zekrom
    • December 20: Kyurem
    • December 27: Regigigas

    Raid Battles generally happen at Pokemon Gyms between 5 AM and 7:45 PM. Once a Raid starts, it lasts for 45 minutes. You can tell if a Gym has an ongoing Raid by looking for a Raid Egg above it with a countdown timer.

    Pokemon Go December 2023 Research Breakthrough

    In December 2023, Pokemon Go will have a special event called Research Breakthroughs. There are six possible rewards: Lapras, Galarian Weezing, Galarian Mr. Mime, Furfrou, Goomy, and Jangmo-o. To get these rewards, here’s what you need to do:

    • Every day, do a Field Research quest to get a stamp.
    • Collect seven stamps in seven days.

    Once you have seven stamps, you’ll get a Research Breakthrough and get one of those awesome Pokemon. The fun starts on December 1st at 1 PM PDT.
