The Apex Legends Final Fantasy 7 Takeover event introduces new elements including materia gun hop-ups, new weapons like the famous Buster Sword, and a variety of new skins and cosmetics.
The event brings new legend skins inspired by Final Fantasy characters, including Wattson as a Moogle, Crypto as Cloud, Valkyrie as Yuffie, Newcastle as Barret, Horizon as Aerith, and Wraith as Vincent.
Weapon skins inspired by various summons from FF7, such as the fiery Ifrit, Bahumut, and Shiva, are also part of the event.
All 36 FF7 cosmetics, including the legend skins, can be obtained in event packs. The event ensures no item duplicates in your event packs, increasing your chances of getting the skin you want.
The Buster Sword R5 cosmetic can replace your heirloom or fists. It can be obtained via the event packs unique to the FF7 Takeover event. Note that the Buster Sword R5 will not be available in the Mythic Shop after the event ends.
The Final Fantasy Takeover event begins on January 9th. Be prepared to join the fun!
