Death Stranding has a new release date for iPhone and Mac

Death Stranding Director’s Cut, originally scheduled to hit Apple devices last year, has received a new release date. The game will now be released on January 30.

The game will be compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPads and Macs with the M1 chip or later. While the game will normally be priced at $34.99 / £34.99, it’s currently discounted by 50% for pre-order customers.

Kojima Productions announced its support for Apple platforms during the iPhone maker’s Worldwide Developers Conference last June. Hideo Kojima stated, “This is just the beginning, and we are actively working to bring our future titles to Apple platforms.”

Kojima Productions is officially working on Death Stranding 2 for PS5 and horror game OD with Xbox Game Studios.

A highly reliable dataminer seemingly leaked the full title of the Death Stranding sequel. They claim the game is called Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach, and that a new reveal for the title is planned within the next 15 days.

Kojima Productions announced last month that it has teamed up with A24 to bring a live-action film adaptation of Death Stranding to the big screen.
