Xianyun is an upcoming 5-star Anemo character in Genshin Impact. She is the human form of Cloud Retainer, one of the adepti in Liyue.
Xianyun is set to release on February 1, 2024, as part of Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite festival for 2024. She will arrive alongside a 4-star Pyro character named Gaming.
Xianyun wields Anemo vision and uses a catalyst as her weapon. This allows her to deal Anemo damage through her normal and charged attacks.
Xianyun is a damage-focused support character with healing capabilities. Her elemental skill allows her to enter a special “Crane Cloud” state, enabling an aerial plunging attack that can hit in an AoE.
Xianyun’s burst provides AoE Anemo damage, heals all party members, and grants a buff called “Bamboo Star” to the current active character. This buff heals them over time and increases their jumping height to boost plunging attack potential.
Xianyun’s constellations provide more skill usage, attack buffs after using her skill, healing for the party, increased crit damage based on skill usage, and cooldown reduction mechanics. Her C6 lets her chain her skill without going on cooldown if used alongside her burst.
