GTA 6 Trailer Ignites the Internet by Breaking MrBeast’s YouTube Record

The long-awaited trailer for GTA 6 was released on December 5. Despite an early leak, Rockstar Games officially launched the trailer, which quickly set the internet ablaze.

The GTA 6 trailer broke the record for the most views on a non-music YouTube video in 24 hours. In less than 13 hours, the trailer surpassed the previous record of 59.4 million views.

The previous record was held by YouTube star MrBeast, who had set the record at 59.4 million views with his ‘Extreme Olympics’ video.

Fans had predicted that the GTA 6 trailer would break the record, with some even suggesting it could double the previous record.

MrBeast acknowledged that his record was broken by the GTA 6 trailer, expressing surprise at the feat.

The GTA 6 trailer is now on track to beat the general record for the most-viewed YouTube video in its first 24 hours, currently held by South Korean boy band BTS.
