Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown demo announcement leaked

The Game Awards 2023 is set to celebrate a year of video games and showcase new titles. One of the games to look forward to is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a side-scrolling action platformer.

Ubisoft seems to be going back to the series’ roots with a modern twist. The 2.5D side-scroller features Metroidvania-style environments, hidden entrances, and plenty of traps and pitfalls.

Ahead of its reveal at The Game Awards, PlayStation’s Brazilian YouTube channel accidentally published the trailer early, revealing new details about Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and announcing a demo.

At The Game Awards, we can expect to see new trailers for the upcoming Fortnite Rocket Racing mode, as well as titles such as Death Stranding 2 and Star Wars Outlaws.

A demo of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be available on January 11, 2024, one week before the game’s official launch. There is currently no news on which platforms the demo will be available on.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is set to launch on January 18, 2024, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
