A new Tekken 8 leak is making the rounds, potentially revealing the DLC characters coming to the game. Tekken 8, which released last month, initially shipped with a roster of 32 characters.
User Shootmans, who claims to have been using a cheat engine to datamine the game, suggests that there are three characters currently in the works. However, it should be noted that they do not have a track record to back up this leak.
The first leaked character is Lidia, a karateka and the Prime Minister of Poland who made her debut in Tekken 7. The second character is Fahkumram, a Muay Thai fighter from Tekken 7 who fights for his and his family’s freedom.
The third character mentioned is Marduk, a character introduced with Tekken 4. A former undefeated Vale Tudo champion, he was disgraced due to a scandal and is now motivated by rage
If these characters are in the game’s files, there could be other explanations besides them being worked on as DLC fighters. They might have been in development for the game and were cut at some point, or this could be leftover code, as all three characters appear in Tekken 7 as DLC fighters.
At the moment of publishing, Bandai Namco has not commented on this potential leak.
