Xbox has officially announced the Xbox Developer Direct, set to take place on January 18, 2024.
Several new games will be showcased, including ZeniMax Media’s Indiana Jones, Obsidian Entertainment’s Avowed, Oxide Games’ Ara: History Untold, and Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Sega’s Hellblade 2. All these games are slated for release in 2024.
ZeniMax Media’s Indiana Jones, first teased in January 2021, has been confirmed as an Xbox exclusive.
The previous Xbox Developer Direct in January included announcements for games like Minecraft Legends, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and The Elder Scrolls Online. One of the biggest reveals was the announcement and shadow drop of Tango Gameworks’ Hi-Fi Rush.
Despite rumors and expectations of Xbox shadow dropping another game, there have been no reputable claims to support this. It remains unclear whether the Xbox Developer Direct will address recent rumors of games like Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves coming to other platforms.
The gaming community is eagerly looking forward to the Xbox Developer Direct on January 18. Are you?
