Stellar Blade Expands to Nintendo Switch 2

Following the impressive success of Stellar Blade on PlayStation 5 and PC, Shift Up has reportedly started development on a Nintendo Switch 2 port of the action RPG.

According to Korean publication PlayForum, the studio acquired an official Switch 2 dev kit and is working on bringing the game to the new platform as part of their broader IP expansion plan.

Stellar Blade’s PC release quickly surpassed 3 million copies sold within five days, demonstrating strong demand. The Switch 2 port aims to introduce the game to a wider audience, expanding beyond the current PS5 and PC player bases. This move aligns with Shift Up’s plans to release a sequel and additional projects by 2027.

The port development signals Shift Up’s commitment to broadening Stellar Blade’s reach. With the game’s blend of intense combat and engaging story, the Switch 2 version could attract new players, especially given Nintendo’s expanding support for mature titles.

Shift Up also recently released a major update for Stellar Blade, adding Photo Mode improvements and new character expressions and poses. These enhancements show the studio’s continued support for the game across all platforms.
